A holiday park since 1942 at Broadfield Farm

About

A holiday park since 1942

Broadfield has been a holiday park since 1942 and the family still runs it. It is quiet on purpose.

Our story

Four generations of the Brace family

Broadfield started as a farm. Bertie Brace farmed the land here from the 1940s, and in the 1960s he began welcoming caravans and campers onto the fields.

His son Gerald was born in the farmhouse here and spent his whole life on the farm. With his wife Jan he grew Broadfield into the holiday park it is today, and their sons Lee and Mark ran the site alongside him for many years. In 1994 the old cow shed became BB's Bar, and in 2000 Jan'z restaurant was built where the tractor shed stood. Jan'z is named after Jan, and Gerald, the assistant who answers your messages, is named after him. We run the park in their memory.

Lee grew up in that same farmhouse and still lives there today with his wife Sam. Together with their son Baylee they run Broadfield now, and Mark's son Jordan looks after the grounds. Still family, still on the same fields between Saundersfoot and Tenby.

Why people come back

People come back for the space, the view over Saundersfoot bay and a meal at Jan'z.

Saundersfoot beach is about a 23 minute walk along the main road, or about a 10 minute walk through Saundersfoot Bay woods down to Glen Beach. Tenby is about five minutes by car.

Text or WhatsApp us any time and Gerald, our automated assistant, will reply. Gerald is named after our grandfather, who ran Broadfield before us.
